I was asked to research the possibility of starting a catering business through Camp Siloam for the Northwest Arkansas area. First, I researched the local demographics and, from that, found a likely target
audience for a potential catering business. Then, I joined a group of classmates
and, together, we decided that Camp Siloam’s new dining facilities might better
serve the community as a hub for interdenominational community through
meals and worship. Finally, we developed an idea for two events to accomplish
that goal—the Cedar Hall Community Lunch and the Cedar Hall Worship Night—
and presented this idea to the leadership at Camp Siloam.
